Dives on the live aboard are signaled by a bell, when the bell rings it's time to begin suiting up for the next dive which will be in 15 minutes. Between dives you can enjoy a massage or just relax on the sun decks, the shady rear lounge deck or in the air conditioned salon. During the cruise there will be an audio visual presentation about the marine biodiversity of the region given by one of the knowledgeable dive staff.
The Accommodation
All cabins and staterooms are beautifully furnished and equipped with private bathrooms, ample hot water, individual air-conditioning units, surge protectors that accept a wide range of plugs and wireless satellite based email.
Nitrox for Everyone
Enriched Air Nitrox is available for all certified Nitrox divers. If you are not a certified Nitrox diver all our instructors can certify you as Enriched Air divers.
Get Up and Go
MSV Cheng Ho carries three large dinghies with high powered engines to move you to dive sites fast and conveniently. Each tender is manned by two competent crew members whom are familiar with the dive sites, diving and photographic equipment plus emergency first aid. Divers only need to set up their gear one time at the beginning of each trip. After the last dive of the voyage all gear will be washed and rinsed by crew members.
Each scuba diver has his own individual dive station complete with under seat locker for storage. The dive deck's 300 liter x 300 bar (5000 psi) air bank system ensures that tank filling is done with speed and in silence. Guests can choose to dive on air or NITROX. A detailed briefing is made by one of our western dive masters prior to each dive. Crew members will assist you into your dive gear or carry your tank to the tender (if desired), and help you into and out of the water.
